Signs of Fall

As fall goes here in the midwest, leaves change and fall and there's a crispness in the air, and so it has begun. And as tradition has it here in the midwest, you go to the pumpkin patches and apple orchards and so this past weekend we went to Champaign, and one of the things we did was take the kids to a pumpkin patch out in the country. Usually you see pictures of little kids at pumpkin patches in their coats and cute little hats picking out their pumpkins. Was it like that for us? Ummmm...no! It was like 85 degrees! But the kids had fun despite the heat and these incredibly annoying, very tiny little black bugs that bit like mosquitos! Oh and the best part was the cheap prices! $2 for a big pumpkin and gourds 2 for 25 cents! And those huge, giant pumpkins you see in the pictures, like 10 bucks! Gotta love country pumpkin patches!! Anyway here's some cute pics of the kids.

Hey Liz,
I'm pretty sure that was the name of it...it was near Philo or in Philo maybe. But yeah, I'm pretty sure it's the cheapest place around!! Definitely will go back!
